AVISA – Assessment of the Incidence of SARS-COV-2 and COVID-19 Infection
The AVISA study was created to analyze the COVID-19 infection rate in Brazil and its medium-term effects. Participants were recruited in 2021.
The study proposes to analyze outcomes related to the sequelae density, number of hospitalizations, use of long-term medications, and implications for other chronic conditions.
Supporting the production of evidence-based knowledge about the coronavirus will help develop public vaccination strategies.
