NutriNet Brasil
NutriNet Brasil is a study for identifying eating patterns in different Brazilian regions and evaluating the relationship between them and the risk of obesity, cancer, heart disease, and other chronic diseases.
The project should accompany 200,000 Brazilians over ten years. The project has an unprecedented format and is based on a 100%-online scientific survey, using questionnaires on the study portal that are opened to the participants every three and four months.

In 2021, NutriNet Brasil published a second article with the study findings: Body weight changes in the NutriNet Brasil cohort during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Result:
The expectation is that the data collected helps to form public health policies, create an online database for researchers, and assist individuals in making healthier food choices.
