The project aims to develop a digital tool capable of stratifying the risk of visual impairment in the population and optimizing screening. The proposal will use artificial intelligence resources and equipment to map retinal alterations, cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors in a simplified manner, without the need for a medical specialist.
Guaranteed specialist medical care within 30 days after identifying a patient with an abnormal result during the platform’s triage; maintaining an accuracy rate above 90% when compared to ophthalmologic examinations; and user satisfaction with the digital platform above 70 points.
